A customer in the automotive industry commissioned American Japanning Inc. to perform the custom coating of a number of auto parts utilized in various applications. The complex steel parts were prepared for treatment with an adhesion spray and a solvent clean. The components were masked as specified, and coated with safety orange employing a spray paint application process. All treated parts were visually inspected to ensure quality and consistency. This is a high volume production contract, with turnaround times from 7 to 10 days and shipments to locations worldwide.
